Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is a popular figure at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gabon international is also in great form, having scored seven league goals in eight appearances so far this season, including six goals in his last six games. The 30-year-old's impressive goalscoring form saw him be awarded with the Premier League player of the month award for September.
But, it's not only on the pitch where Aubameyang is making an impact, with the striker reportedly going out of his way to make the young players at Arsenal feel comfortable with the first team as they make their way into football.
According to the Athletic , Aubameyang has helped both summer arrival Gabriel Martinelli and youth product Bukayo Saka as they break into the first team fold.
The report claims that the striker sought out Martinelli upon his arrival, making the effort of speaking in Portuguese to the young Brazilian, while also giving academy graduate Saka compliments and advice following the youngster's involvement in first team action at the Emirates Stadium.
Both players seem to repaying the effort by Aubameyang, with Martinelli, scoring a brace in both of his starts for the Gunners this season, against Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup and vs Standard Liege in the Europa League.
Saka has started the last three Premier League games under Unai Emery, providing the assist for Aubameyang's equaliser against Manchester United in the 1-1 draw.
The striker will be hoping that his efforts to help Arsenal's young stars will continue to pay off.
