Cricket Players Notice Distressed Woman
According to reports shared online, the players noticed a woman who appeared distressed and was dealing with a man allegedly following her. In the video, the cricket players kept asking the alleged stalker, "Who are you?", "What are you doing here?" and "call 911". One of the men from the group can be heard saying, "This is a cricket ground. It's a private property. Nobody is touching you."
The woman had already contacted the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) for assistance.
Seeing the situation unfold, the cricketers approached calmly and confronted the man. Instead of escalating tensions, they worked together to de-escalate the situation and ensure the woman's safety.
Witnesses and social media users have praised the group's composure, saying they handled the situation responsibly and prevented any potential confrontation from turning violent.
