What age do you need to be to go to TRNSMT Festival 2021?

This time next week, many of us will be gearing up to head to our favourite Scottish festival, TRNSMT.

The last time TRNSMT took place was in 2019 and many of us are keen to get back to Glasgow Green to watch all our favourite acts from The Courteeners, Liam Gallagher and Snow Patrol.

But what age do you need to be to go to the event? We have all the information on entry requirements.

Festival bosses have said that no persons under 12 are permitted, however anyone between the age of twelve and fifteen can be accompanied into the event by an adult who is over the age of twenty-one.

There is a limit on this though and 1 adult can only accompany up to 4 persons aged 12 -15 years old.

Festival goers who are aged 16 and above do not need accompanied by an adult.

The TRNSMT team have put in place a challenge 25 policy at the entrance gates to make sure guardians are 21 and over. Proof of age may be requested so organisers are asking guardians to bring acceptable photographic ID.

The challenge 25 policy will also be in place at the bars ensuring access is restricted to persons 18 and over. Proof of age may be required so make sure you bring acceptable photographic ID.
