Animal welfare experts in West Lothian are looking to rehome a gentle greyhound called Ellen.
Ellen - who is currently under the care of the Dogs Trust’s West Calder Rehoming Centre - is described as “a loving six-year-old girl who loves spending time with her family, whether going for walks, trips in the car or enjoying a snuggle on the sofa together”.
Ellen is happy to meet new people and she is house-trained.
She enjoys her home comforts and is no stranger to an afternoon spent tucking into a doggy treat, relaxing in the garden or enjoying a snooze.

A spokesperson from the rehoming centre said: “Ellen is at her happiest when she’s around people and, as she’s not used to being left home alone, she is looking for new owners who will be around during the day to keep her company and help her settle into her new home.
“Ellen would be happy living with children aged around 10-years-old and above and while she is happy and polite with dogs on walks, Ellen would be happiest as the only pet at home.
“With her affectionate and loving nature, Ellen will make a wonderful addition to a family.”
