West Ham transfer latest: Hammers looking to wrap up strong window with Albian Ajeti deal

West Ham broke their transfer record to sign Sebastien Haller from Eintracht Frankfurt but they are still looking for cover in attack, with Basel and Switzerland forward Albian Ajeti a strong candidate.

It has been a productive window and the arrivals of Haller and Spain under-21 midfielder Pablo Fornals make Europe a realistic aim.

The signing of Goncalo Cardoso has provided cover at centre-back and, crucially, West Ham go into the final day of the window with no doubt around the future of Declan Rice.

West Ham summer ins and outs

In: Sebastien Haller (E Frankfurt, £45m); Pablo Fornals (Villarreal, £24m); Goncalo Cardoso (Boavista, £2.8m); Roberto (Espanyol, free), David Martin (Millwall, free).
