West Ham suspend fans involved in viral white powder sniffing video at London Stadium

West Ham have suspended the individuals involved in a viral video which shows one supporter sniffing a white power that appears to be cocaine off another’s head during a match.

A statement said the club were “disgusted” by the incident, which took place during a home game at the London Stadium.

In the video, which emerged on social media on Thursday, one fan snorts a white powder off the head of a man stood in the row of seats in front.

The statement said: “The club is disgusted by the contents of the video and acted swiftly to identify the offenders.

“In line with our zero-tolerance approach, details of the offenders were immediately passed on to the police, and all individuals had their season tickets suspended and are therefore unable to enter London Stadium and travel with the club for away fixtures.

“Pending our own club investigation, this could lead to the offenders being banned indefinitely. There is no place for this kind of behaviour.”
