West Ham star Robert Snodgrass makes touching £3,000 donation to Isla's fight against cancer

Fighting neuroblastoma: Brave three-year-old Isla Caton (Picture: Family handout)

Robert Snodgrass has made a whopping £3,000 contribution to the cause of West Ham supporting Isla Caton.

The 4-year-old is suffering from Neuroblastoma, a rare form of child cancer, and, having seen her relapse twice Isla's family are raising money to take her to America for specialist treatment.

On International Kindness Day, Snodgrass, 31, donated £3,000 to her cause leaving the message: "Keep fighting little one".

Hammers fans have been raising money for months with charity collections, challenges, auctions and games against traditional rivals Millwall.

Earlier this year the club hosted Isla and her family, who have now raised almost £400,000 of their £600,000 target, at London Stadium where she led out the players for their home game against Bournemouth last season.

Isla's cause is backed by the Bradley Lowery Foundation, set up in memory of the Sunderland fan who captured hearts during his battle with the same child cancer.
