West Bengal Annapurna Yojana direct link: Here's how to download, apply and fill the form, eligibility and what to do if enrollment fails online

The West Bengal government has launched the 'Annapurna Yojana' for the women of the state. Under the Annapura Yojana scheme, women will receive financial assistance of Rs 3,000 per month. The direct link to apply for the scheme is socialsecurity.wb.gov.in.

The information was shared by BJP leader and South Asansol MLA Agnimitra Paul. West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari on Wednesday said the state government would begin issuing forms for the Annapurna Yojana from May 27, 2026.

“As and when forms are filled up, ₹3,000 will start getting credited into beneficiaries’ accounts. The faster people complete registration, the faster they will receive benefits,” Adhikari said.

How to download form and apply for Annapurna Yojana

Eligible candidates can use these steps to download and fill Annapurna Yojana form in West Bengal:

To download the West Bengal Annapurna Yojana application form, applicants need to visit the official portal: West Bengal Social Security Portal

After opening the website, applicants can choose their preferred language before downloading the form. The application form is available in:

English

Bengali

Hindi

Applicants are advised to carefully read all the instructions mentioned in the form before filling it out.

The form asks for several details, including:

Name of the Head of Family (HOF)

Date of birth and gender

Aadhaar number

Household ID linked to the Digital Ration Card (if available)

Number of family members

Address and contact information

Bank account details

EPIC and PAN card information

Employment details

Whether any family member pays income tax or professional tax

Educational details of adult family members

Annual family income and other related information.

What is the eligibility?

Applicant must be between 25 and 60 years of age

Must not have a permanent government job

Should not receive a regular salary or pension from the Central or West Bengal government

Not eligible if employed in any:

statutory body

government undertaking

panchayat

municipal body

local authority

Should not work as a teaching or non-teaching staff member in any government-aided educational institution in West Bengal

Applicant must not be an income tax payer

What happens if you are unable to fill form?

Shuvendu Adhikari said, “Those who are unable to fill out the form either online or offline need not worry. The BJP will organise public welfare camps in different areas on June 15, 16 and 17 to assist people. Anyone who is still unable to complete the process will be provided help there.”

Adhikari also asserted that only Indian citizens would be eligible for the scheme. “Keep in mind that only Indians will get this opportunity. India’s money is not meant for infiltrators coming from Bangladesh. This has been made very clear,” he said.

Database cleansing exercise

According to an official order issued by the Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Department, the verification drive has been launched to identify and remove ineligible beneficiaries from the database while ensuring that genuine recipients continue receiving benefits under the scheme.

“All existing beneficiaries of the Lakshmir Bhandar scheme shall be migrated to the Annapurna Yojana except the dead, shifted, deleted and absentee electors identified during SIR 2026, deletion in the second list after publication of draft list, deleted after adjudication, and those marked as ASDD, that is Absent, Shifted, Dead, or Duplicate, found during voter slip distribution,” a government notification dated May 19, 2026, said.

Officials have also been instructed to make sure beneficiaries’ Aadhaar-linked bank accounts are properly updated on the portal so that direct benefit transfers can be processed without issues.
