Wes Nelson was photographed chatting to a ‘mystery woman’ at the Dancing On Ice wrap party.
Images obtained by The Sun show the former Love Island star looking deep in conversation with backing dancer Bayley Darling, who has previously performed with Little Mix, during Sunday night’s festivities.
A source told the publication: “Wes and Bayley were very close and were chatting over a pizza at the party for some time.
“There was certainly a deep chat going on over the deep pan.”
Standard Online has contacted a representative for Nelson for further comment.
Shortly after coming in second place to James Jordan in the finale of the ITV skating competition, Nelson shut down any possibility of a reconciliation with his ex-girlfriend Megan Barton Hanson in an appearance on Loose Women.
“We haven’t spoken in a good amount of time. Sometimes it’s civil, sometimes it’s not,” he told the show’s panel.
“I’m happy to be civil. I’m not malicious or bitter. Whatever happens, happens.”
When asked directly if he would consider getting back together with his fellow Love Island star, he replied: “I don’t think so, no. It’s sad but sadly I don’t think so.”
The former engineer also slammed reports of a romance with his skating partner Vanessa Bauer, describing the media speculation about the nature of their relationship as “laughable.”
“I split with my ex and there were a lot of allegations,” he said. “There’s no truth in it. It’s laughable. In training everyone was laughing.
“Vanessa is probably one of the most professional people I’ve ever met in my life.”
