Liverpool manager Arne Slot says he has spoken to the club’s owners since the defeat to PSV Eindhoven.
Liverpool’s 4-1 humiliation at Anfield on Wednesday night was a ninth defeat in their last 12 matches across all competitions, marking the club’s worst run of form for 71 years.
Furthermore, that was third successive game in the Reds have lost by three goals after back-to-back 3-0 defeats to Manchester City and Nottingham Forest either side of the international break.
As a result, Slot - who helped Liverpool win the Premier League in his first season in charge - has had to face questions regarding his future amid talk of being sacked.
Speaking after the Champions League tie on Wednesday, the Dutchman revealed he had support from the decision makers at the club.
Less than 24 hours later, Slot confirmed talks with the ownership and said conversations have not changed.
"We've had the same conversations that we've had since I got here,” he said on Thursday ahead of Liverpool’s Premier League clash against West Ham.
“We fight on. We try to improve, but the conversations have been the same as they have been for the last one and a half years."
Slot also dismissed any suggestion that he is feeling let down by some of his underperforming players.
He added: "Not at all. I do agree that our standards have not been of the standards we are used to. We think we can play better.
"Last season when we did really well, there was focus on individuals and I said we should focus on the team. If the opposite is happening, we should also look at the team and not individuals."
