When it comes to planning the perfect day out, it can be a little tricky to know what to do and where to visit.
Whether you're trying to plan a day out abroad in a new city or looking for something new to do in your hometown, there are a number of things to consider. Figuring out what you enjoy, what your family or friends want to do and of course the weather are all deciding factors.
But what comes to mind when someone asks you what the best things to do are in Glasgow?

To solve the question we asked a ChatGPT, a bot powered by artificial intelligence (AI), to make some suggestions.
And here is what the robot reckons could make the perfect day out in Glasgow.
What to do in Glasgow for the day

The bot provided a list of six options.
Most of these options seems like a pretty good day out, with the likes the Glasgow Science Centre and Kelvingrove Art Gallery picked out.
One issue, however, was the location of some of the options. While the Royal Mile walk is a great day out, we would have to travel to Edinburgh to enjoy it. It seems the bot got a little confused.
It could also be a bit difficult to catch a play at the Glasgow Empire Theatre, with the final curtain having come down on March 31, 1963.
Where to eat in Glasgow

The Glasgow food scene is constantly expanding and we have some of the best right on our door step.
The chatbot suggested some gems including The Ubiquitous Chip. Although when it comes to the Citizen Burger Bar, we are assuming the AI meant The Citizen located just off of George Square.
We're not quite sure what the bot meant by Chippendale nor Boilerhouse, so there is definite need for improvement when it comes to this technology
What should locals do?
We also asked the bot what locals should do for the day if they fancy something a little different.
As well as going to the theatre, the bot suggested that locals should go on a walk around the city, explore nearby attractions and spend time with friends and family.
It seems a little vague, right?
Overall we think it's safe to say we will stick to our own suggestions when it comes to a day out in the city whether it's a walk in a local park or a trip to our favourite eatery.
