Coleen and Wayne Rooney have a list of marriage 'ground rules' they have laid down to help keep their relationship strong.
The former Everton FC striker and mum-of-four have been married since 2008, but their relationship has continued to survive thanks to a set of clear rules.
Speaking to Heat, a source claimed the 'ground rules' are focused on spending time together as a family, as well as 'date nights' for Wayne and Coleen.
The insider said: “Coleen put her foot down and laid some ground rules and it’s really worked for them.
“They seem to be back to the good old days. For once, they are both at home all the time – and spending some quality time together. There’s a lot of movie nights, family games nights, at-home date nights – and Wayne even does a boys’ night to give Coleen a break one evening a week."
The source added: "They’re determined to stick to this new regime even when things go back to normal [after lockdown]. Wayne says he will not be going out and partying like he used to and spending more time with his friends than his family.”

Coleen recently shared a picture with fans on Instagram to emphasise how strong her and Wayne's relationship really is.
The loved-up Valentine's Day snap was a 'throwback' to a holiday the pair went on to Mexico in 2003.
Sharing the photo to her nearly one million followers, Coleen captioned the photo: "Loved you then, love you now. Happy Valentines Day Wayne Rooney."
And Wayne shared his own cute Valentine's picture in the form of a selfie taken in the couple's back garden.
Beaming from behind their giant sunnies, the pair looked suitably loved up, with Wayne posting to say: "Happy Valentines Day Coleen Rooney. Thanks for everything you do for me and the boys. We love you."
Speaking to heat, the source said: “Coleen is fed up with their marriage being seen as a bit of joke and she wanted to prove just how strong they are at the moment.
“By posting these pictures and declarations of love for each other, they’re showing that they’re over their problems.
"And Coleen’s throwback was a nice reminder of just how long they’ve been together – and that their relationship has seen it all and survived. There will definitely be more loved-up posts and happy family pics to come.”
Coleen and Wayne Rooney appear to be going from strength to strength after spending more time together as a family during the lockdown.
They recently celebrated son Cass Mac's third birthday with a Fireman Sam themed lockdown birthday party at home.
