May 11--Destiny Dyer, who suffers from a genetic disorder that causes her bones to break easily, squealed as she started a car for the first time while learning to drive at the Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital in Wheaton.
"This is the coolest thing I've ever seen. It's like I'm seeing a miracle happen," said her companion Tiffany Manning, who also has osteogenesis imperfecta. "Never seen anybody in a wheelchair or anybody with my disease drive."

The two women, who had broken more than 300 bones between them before the age of 3, are featured on Wednesday's episode of "Two in a Million," which is scheduled to air on TLC at 9 p.m. The series pairs strangers with the same unusual medical condition for a week so they can share their experiences.
Manning and Dyer, who are both in their 20s, traveled by plane from Cleveland to Chicago in October to drive the specially adapted van, a show representative said. They also visited the Illinois Bone and Joint Institute in Morton Grove.
