Even Tom Brady is not immune from the injury bug that is steadily taking out NFL quarterbacks this week.
The Patriots veteran quarterback was listed on New England’s injury report as being limited in Wednesday’s practice with a calf injury. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports that the injury is “minor.”
Brady is set to make his 270th career start for the Patriots (2-0) as the team hosts the New York Jets (0-2) Sunday. The visitors in the Week 3 meeting are preparing to start their third quarterback of the season in Luke Falk. Season starter and 2018 first-round draft pick Sam Darnold is out indefinitely with mono, Week 2 starter Trevor Siemian is out with ligament damage in his ankle from Monday night’s game.
