The Tennessee Titans concluded their three-day mandatory minicamp on Thursday and will now have more than one month off before training camp begins on July 27.
While you can’t glean too much from minicamp, it was our first opportunity to see some of the players who didn’t participate in voluntary OTAs, like running back Derrick Henry and cornerback Janoris Jenkins.
During one of the two on-field sessions, Titans running back coach Tony Dews was mic’d up, giving us an inside look (or listen) while he ran drills.

Going into training camp, the Titans likely already have three spots locked-in on the running back depth chart with Henry, Darrynton Evans and fullback Khari Blasingame. However, there could be one spot up for grabs on the depth chart at the position if the Titans decide to carry a fourth back.
While Tennessee only carried three backs on its initial 53-man roster in 2020, the team carried as many as five later in the campaign.
We don’t expect the Titans to carry that many into this season, but a fourth is certainly possible, and if that happens veterans Brian Hill and Jeremy McNichols would be the favorites to grab the spot.
