WATCH: Tiger Woods makes insane left-handed par save at WGC-Match Play

Just when you think you’ve seen it all from Tiger Woods, the 14-time major champion pulls a new one out of his bag of tricks.

Woods was in danger of falling two down against Brandt Snedeker Thursday at WGC-Dell Technology Match Play after missing his approach at the par-4 10th hole long. Like, way long.

Woods’ approach shot from 162 yards out sailed over the green and settled into a cluster of bushes just in front of a hospitality tent. It looked to be dead with no chance of getting up and down from there.

But Woods decided he could take a swipe at it. He got down on one knee and assumed a modified left-handed stance (!), the toe of the club pointed toward the ground. With a flick of the wrists, the ball popped out of the bushes and rolled onto the green just four feet from the cup.

Woods made that putt to save par and halve the hole in what was easily one of his most creative shots since his comeback began in early 2018.  He’s still very much in contention to advance from group play after defeating Aaron Wise in his opening match Wednesday. Woods will face Patrick Cantlay Friday in the final round of group play.
