WATCH: Tiger Woods ‘feels good’ going into the BMW Championship

Tiger Woods is back on the golf course this week. Woods arrived at the BMW Championship Tuesday, ready to compete in the second of the three FedEx Cup Playoff events.

“I feel good,” Woods said. “Feel a lot better than I felt last week. Felt good this morning so I thought I’d give it a go.”

Woods has a tee time just before 7:50 a.m. ET. for Wednesday’s Pro-Am. Thursday, he tees off for the first round at 12:54 p.m. ET.

The 43-year-old withdrew last Friday at Northern Trust, marking his first withdraw since having spinal fusion surgery in April 2017, citing an oblique strain after shooting a 75 in the first round. His quick return to the course is a good sign.

Woods ranks 38th in the FedEx Cup standings and needs to play his way into one of the top 30 spots to advance to next weekend’s final in Atlanta.
