Watch the Throne 2? Kanye West suggests new Jay Z collaboration on Twitter after 'diss' is cleared up

Jay Z’s latest reference to Kanye West on wax was designed to clarify that he his still has love for his “little brother”, and yet some people still managed to read it as a diss.

“No red hat, don’t Michael and Prince me and Ye,” he rapped on Meek Mill collab “What’s Free”, referencing the MAGA hat that Kanye often wears. “They separate you when you got Michael and Prince’s DNA”.

Jay Z doesn’t tweet much these days, but he made an exception on Friday night just to make sure everyone was on the same page about the lyric.

“The line clearly meant don’t pit me against my brothers no matter what our differences are (red hat) now go pick up Meek album,” he posted.

A few hours later, Kanye replied: “Throne 2” with a hopeful shrugging emoji.

He was presumably referring to the pair’s collaborative 2011 album, Watch the Throne, and by the sound of Kanye is game for some kind of sequel.

Ye and Jay’s relationship has been turbulent over the past couple of years, but Hov is sticking by his protege.

“That’s my brother. We’re beyond friends. Like literally, my little brother is Kanye,” he previously said.

“And like your little brother, things happen sometimes. It’s still your sibling forever. We don’t come from the same mom and dad, but I’ve watched Kanye from without an album.”
