Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has been making the rounds this offseason, from attending Carnival in Brazil to spring training with the Yankees.
But on Friday night, Wilson appeared on “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon and was confronted with the question both Seattle and New York fans want the answer to: Is there a chance he ends up with the Giants?
“There’s a rumor that you could maybe be signing with the New York Giants,” Fallon began. “I’m just saying, there’s a rumor.”
Wilson responded: “We are here in New York, but I’m not sure the Seahawks are going to let me get away. I love Seattle. Seattle is a special place.”
Fallon then moved on to ask Wilson about his next contract, which could make him the highest-paid quarterback in the history of the league.
“Does that make you feel good?” Fallon asked.
“Well, you know, it’s not going to make me feel bad,” Wilson joked.
