Watch: Ravindra Jadeja's three quick wickets and Rohit Sharma's sharp catch

NEW DELHI: After dropping lollies early on in the innings, Team India bounced back with left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja picking three quick wickets and skipper Rohit Sharma taking a sharp catch at first slip against Nepal in the Asia Cup match at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy on Monday.

Jadeja got rid of Bhim Sharki (7), captain Rohit Paudel (5) and Kushal Malla (2) quite cheaply in a span of 7 overs to bring India back into the match.

Nepal started brilliantly as they lost their first wicket in the form of Kushal Bhurtel (38) at the score of 65 after 9.5 overs but then lost three quick wickets in the next 12 overs.

Jadeja first cleaned up Sharki in the 16th over and then dismissed Paudel in the 20th over as an alert Rohit grabbed a fine catch in the slip cordon to send back his counterpart.

Jadeja didn't stop there as he struck an over later to dismiss Malla with Mohammed Siraj completing a catch.
