Watch: Ravens S Marcus Williams records first interception with Baltimore

The Baltimore Ravens began their regular season on Sunday on the road at the New York Jets with plenty of storylines, including Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson playing on a fifth-year option and New York quarterback Joe Flacco playing against his former team. However, one player on Baltimore notched his first interception as a member of the Ravens.

With 5:07 left to go in the first quarter, Flacco attempted a pass to Jets tight end Lawrence Cager. Cager fell on the play and Baltimore safety Marcus Williams was there to take away the pass, returning the it to the New York 14-yard line.

Williams was signed by Baltimore as a free agent after spending his first five seasons with the New Orleans Saints. In the move, the Ravens added a playmaker who can cover a good portion of the secondary. Through his first five seasons, Williams has 15 interceptions, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, one sack and an interception returned for a touchdown. His interception on Sunday marked the 16th of his career.
