Watch Rangers' 60 pass Scott Arfield goal in full from unique angle in Ibrox win over St Mirren

Rangers hit a late flurry of goals as they defeated St Mirren at Ibrox last time out.

The Light Blues bounced back perfectly from their Old Firm defeat to Celtic the previous weekend to get confidence back up ahead of a huge semi-final showdown with their arch rivals at Hampden in less than two weeks time. Ange Postecoglou's men came out on top 3-2 in the Parkhead league meeting and won the League Cup Final 2-1 in the last national stadium battle earlier this year.

But the result was put behind the Ibrox men with a thrilling 5-2 win over Stephen Robinson's Buddies. The home side were made to work for the win with two Mark O'Hara crackers for the visitors pegging back the hosts before a late Alfredo Morelos quick-fire double put the game out of sight. Sub Scott Arfield put the icing on the cake with a fifth just four minutes from time and the club have now released footage showing a whopping SIXTY passes in the build-up to the goal.

The video is also captured from a unique angle looking at the play from a height as it captures every detail both on and off the ball in the lead up to the seventh and final goal of the afternoon in Govan.

Rangers remain 12 points behind Celtic at the league summit after the weekend results with the leaders blowing away Kilmarnock at Rugby Park with four goals and a missed penalty inside the opening 30 minutes.

Next up for the Ibrox men is a trip to Pittodrie to face red-hot Aberdeen - who are on a run of six Premiership wins on the bounce as they now hold a five point cushion on Hearts in third spot.

Arfield was the hero on the last visit as he scored two injury time goals to hand Beale a stunning comeback win over the Reds. The league split follows with fixtures still to be confirmed once the final league placings for this season are determined with top and bottom six places still up for grabs in the final fixture card.
