It shouldn’t have been surprising that Hunter Renfrow was able to produce in a big way for the Raiders as a rookie. Despite running just a 4.59 40-yard dash at 184 pounds and being drafted in the fifth-round, Renfrow became a major piece of the Raiders’ offense, especially in the back half of the season.
Over the last seven games of the season, Renfrow caught 35 passes for 490 yards and four touchdowns as he was essentially functioning as the team’s No. 2 receiver behind Tyrell Williams. He finished the season with 605 yards on 49 receptions during his rookie season.

Considering what he did as a rookie in the Raiders’ offense, it’s hard not to get excited about Renfrow in Year 2. While he will never be the team’s top option at receiver, he’s an important role player that will ultimately help move the chains. Renfrow was one of the best Day 3 picks in the NFL in 2019.
