Watch: New Miami Dolphins OL Robert Hunt shares his incredible story

The Miami Dolphins’ new rushing attack is going to be quite fun to enjoy. The Dolphins, after adding Ereck Flowers and Ted Karras in free agency, have tacked on OT Austin Jackson and OL Robert Hunt through the first two days of the 2020 NFL Draft. Given Jackson’s status as a top-20 pick and Hunt’s status as a top-40 pick, both should be expected to win starting jobs for Miami in 2020.

But if there’s one thing we know already, it is that there will be no trials or challenges undertaken by Robert Hunt that will be able to challenge his will. Not after the upbringing that Hunt experienced. Hunt’s life story is a fascinating one — and he shared it with the NFL ahead of the 2020 draft.

So without further ado, meet your new offensive lineman, Dolphins fans.

A surprise pregnancy, hurricanes, house fires and the struggle to survive. Hunt has been a fighter his entire life. So bring on a positional battle in training camp when the time comes. Considering what Hunt has already conquered to get to this point, everything else seems like a mole hill in comparison.

Hunt should be expected to challenge for (and win) the starting right guard position on Miami’s new look offensive line in 2020. There’s a chance the team could install Jesse Davis at guard and play Hunt at tackle, but his power and mobility projects best to an interior role in 2020 and beyond.
