Farmington PG Jaden Akins is one of Michigan State Basketball’s highest priority recruits right now. Akins is incredibly athletic, which is a big bonus for a 6-3 Guard known for playmaking and long-distance shooting.

In this clip, it looks like Akins really impresses former NBA player Jordan Crawford. Crawford took to Twitter to comment on Jaden’s ability.
Akins is currently ranked as the No. 71 player in the 2021 recruiting class, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. He recently picked up a 247Sports Crystal Ball prediction from an Insider.
There are plenty of other suitors vying for a commitment from Akins including Iowa, Michigan, and Xavier. His most recent offer comes from Louisville on May 19. We’ll keep you posted on Akins’ future decision.
