NEW DELHI: As Mahendra Singh Dhoni turned 42 on July 7th, wishes poured in from all quarters for the cricketing icon. Known for his humility, the former India skipper celebrated his birthday in a subdued manner at his Ranchi farmhouse.
Dhoni however did had special guests for his birthday as the legend was seen cutting and sharing cake with his beloved pet dogs.
Known for his love for the dogs, Dhoni in a social media post, shared a video with his pet friends having a heartwarming moment and also thanked everyone for the warm wishes.
"Thanks a lot for all your warm wishes, a glimpse of what I did on my birthday," read the caption along with the video post.
Dhoni was last seen playing competitive cricket during IPL 2023 when he led Chennai Super Kings to a record-equalling fifth title.
The Dhoni-led CSK defeated defending champions Gujarat Titans for the title.
