Morten Andersen, one of two full-time place-kickers in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, is offering to prepare Carli Lloyd for the NFL.
He posted a video on Twitter and seemed enthusiastic about the opportunity to help the two-time World Cup champion pursue a kicking career.
Lloyd turned heads at a Philadelphia Eagles practice on Aug. 20, where she drove in a 55-yard field goal with ease.
Lloyd’s accomplishments on the pitch include two Olympic gold medals, two World Cup titles, two FIFA player of the year awards and three-plus years of captainship for the U.S. women’s national team.
Andersen retired in 2008 after 25 seasons in the NFL, and racked up seven Pro Bowl nods and a handful of league records. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2017.
