Footage shows the moment a key Kinahan associate's house was raided and drugs were nicked in front of a number of people in his front garden.
In the clip, which was taken in broad daylight at the south Dublin property, gardai can be seen dragging a man across the concrete and busting into a home on Cashel Road in Crumlin.
The house is believed to be that of Ian "Mad Dog" Maloney, sources confirmed to Dublin Live.
It’s understood Maloney was recruited to the Kinahan cartel by a senior thug and is being used as a foot soldier.
Up to three female witnesses can be seen sitting in the garden enjoying the fine weather as the frightening and heavy raid kicks off.
One man is visibly brought from the front door of the house and onto the ground outside where he is restrained by officers, who warn the mouthy onlookers that anyone else who speaks will be administered with pepper spray.
Gardai said no one was arrested at the scene but cannabis and "an electronic device" were seized as part of the bust.
Maloney, a convicted armed robber with over 70 previous convictions, was jailed after a €1.2million heist at Paul Sheeran Jewellers in Dundrum Town Centre.
He spent seven years of a 12-year sentence behind bars in Mountjoy Prison for that and "declared himself a Kinahan man" when he got out in January, 2018.
He was also involved in an attack on supergrass Joey O'Brien in January 2009.
Speaking about the operation, a Garda spokeswoman said: "Gardai conducted a search operation under warrant at a residence in Crumlin yesterday evening, 29 May 2020.
"A small quantity of cannabis herb and an electronic device was seized during the operation.
"Investigations are ongoing."
