Watch moment Celtic boss Neil Lennon learns Rangers have fallen behind to Hamilton

Despite their abject run of domestic form since the winter break, few people expected Rangers to lose against Hamilton Accies at Ibrox.

That they did, in the process extending Celtic's lead at the top of the Premiership to 13 points.

Neil Lennon's side were enduring a difficult evening of their own at the Tony Macaroni Arena, where Gary Holt's Livingston held a 2-1 advantage until the dying moments.

It was during the second half that a cheer went up from the away support as they heard news of David Moyo's goal for the Accies and the news soon filtered through to Lennon.

Celtic eventually earned a point thanks to a late Tom Rogic equaliser, much to Lennon's relief.

Speaking to BT Sport after the game, he said: "I'm absolutely delighted with the performance, and really annoyed with the two goals we gave away.

"Apart from that we were brilliant at a really difficult place to come. We were outstanding.

"You can see why Livingston get results here. They defend for their lives.

"But we were brilliant."

Former Celtic forward Chris Sutton aimed a dig at Rangers following the match, tweeting: "Remarkable night... Celtic show some balls against impressive Livingston to get a point... Rangers lacking balls again and lose at home to Hamilton... the league looks academical now..."
