“Too many missed opportunities.”
This was the common theme from Head Coach Mark Dantonio’s press conference today after Michigan State’s loss to Arizona State.
Sure, he noted in the postgame press conference that he wasn’t thrilled with the refs, and there are some legitimate grievances on that end for the Spartans (see my article on a missed call on the final play), but Mark Dantonio kept things in perspective. You simply can’t leave a game, one in which you were heavily favored at home, in a position where the outcome can be dictated by the referees.
