Singing sensation Mabel blew away commuters with a surprise performance of her Christmas single, a cover of Cyndi Lauper’s Time After Time.
The 80s track features in McDonald’s Christmas advert ‘ Imaginary Iggy’ that perfectly evokes the theme of never being too old to make believe.
She took to London's Piccadilly Circus as part of the fast food chain's Reindeer Ready campaign, to the delight of passers-by who formed a crowd to take in the special performance.
Mabel surprised three McDonald’s staff who were busking the hit single against the backdrop of the Eros Statue, stunning commuters and tourists with the surprise appearance.
The singer is donating 10p from every download of the single to FareShare, with McDonald’s also funding the redistribution of five million meals during the festive period.
