Warriors guard Steph Curry suffered a broken left hand in Wednesday’s loss to the Suns and the NBA community has responded with steady good wishes for the two-time NBA Finals MVP.
Thursday, LeBron James tweeted a personal message to Curry, saying “Speedy and healthy recovery brother!!! 🙏🏾.”
It’s an unsurprising nod from King James, proving that the respect between players outweighs the rivalry that developed when James and Curry were opponents in four straight NBA Finals from 2015-2018.
Curry posted his own update to his Instagram later Thursday, sharing a selfie including his wrapped left hand and writing “appreciate all the love/texts/support, all that. Be back soon!”
