WATCH: Jayson Tatum’s Boston Celtics-Toronto Raptors Game 4 highlights

In a game that saw the Boston Celtics shoot historically low percentages from beyond the arc — the Celtics went 7-for-35 for 20% from 3 — one could make the case that there were no real highlights in the team’s Game 4 loss to the Toronto Raptors.

But forward Jayson Tatum did manage to put up 24 points and 10 rebounds on 10-of-18 shooting, even if his 1-of-6 shooting from deep was par for the course among his teammates.

The focus, desire and aggressiveness needed to win at this level were simply absent throughout much of the game, and despite Tatum’s respectable stat line, there was far too much to criticize on a night the Celtics beat themselves, going only 5-of-22 on open 3s, per ESPN.

Hopefully that trend changes in a hurry, or Boston will have plenty of time on their hands to think about what might have been.

Until then, here’s a video of Jayson Tatum doing less that he could have on a team of players who were clearly in their own head for no good reason while losing to a team they have repeatedly waxed the floor with.
