Watch: Gardner Minshew dodges 3 tackles for a touchdown pass to Ryquell Armstead

While Gardner Minshew II has made a name for himself with his unique look and accuracy, his legs have long been an underrated part of his game. Troy Aikman even went on a rant about how built Minshew is in terms of his lower body Week 3 and the rookie got to prove him right by showcasing his lower-body strength and elusiveness.

With the Jags down by a score of 17-6 against the Denver Broncos Sunday, Leonard Fournette and Minshew led the team down the field for a 10-plus minute drive of 16 plays. Once the team got in the red zone, Minshew channeled his inner Lamar Jackson to evade three Broncos defenders and hit fellow rookie Ryquell Armstead for the first touchdown of the game.

Man, what can’t this kid do?

Minshew’s poise has gotten the Jags a long way and most have been amazed by it, especially with him being a rookie. If he can continue to work his magic and the Jags can cut down on the penalties, the Jags can probably garner the necessary momentum needed to hold off this struggling Broncos squad.
