Falcons kicker Giorgio Tavecchio missed two field goals during Thursday night’s exhibition loss to the Jets.

Tavecchio has it right about the first miss – that attempt was partially blocked by a Jets player. It’s also worth noting that both kicks were from 52 yards out. That’s not an easy distance to hit from – even for most NFL kickers – even in an indoor stadium.
Because Twitter is what it is, many fans were calling for the Falcons to bring back Matt Bryant. It’s understandable to miss Bryant but that’s premature.
Tavecchio was perfect on field goals and extra kicks last season and after the game coach Dan Quinn told the media the team still has great trust in him.
