NEW DELHI: In a thrilling moment during the IPL 2024 Eliminator, Royal Challengers Bengaluru's Virat Kohli showcased his fielding brilliance with a spectacular throw to dismiss Rajasthan Royals (RR) batter Dhruv Jurel.
Kohli's lightning-fast reflexes and pinpoint accuracy caught Jurel short as he attempted a second run at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Wednesday.
Positioned at deep-square leg, Kohli moved swiftly to his left as he collected the ball and fired a precise throw towards the bowler's end, where Cameron Green disturbed the stumps just as the batter was attempting to complete his second run, resulting in Jurel's dismissal.
Green didn't seem to be in control while holding the ball, but Jurel's casual approach while running the second cost him his wicket.
