Watch: Dublin singer's raw rendition of classic song leaves people on street in tears

This is the moment a talented Dublin singer stunned his audience with his powerful rendition of Bring Him Home from Les Miserables.

Dean Arthur Forrester dedicated the emotional song, originally sung by Colm Wilkinson, to Ukrainians battling for freedom from the invading Russian forces.

Speaking outside Pip's Deli in Crumlin on St Patrick's Day, Dean said: "This next song is a very special song to me. It was one of my father's favourite songs before he passed away.

"My dad was in the army as a lot of you do know and I used to sing this song every year at the remembrance mass for all the soldiers that died overseas."

He added: "But this year I'm going to dedicate it to everybody that's struggling over there, everybody that's died in Ukraine.

"I think there's a lot more that needs to be done about this but I'm going to dedicate this song in memory of every soldier that died fighting for freedom the same way our own soldiers have died as you know yourself."
