WATCH: Chiefs LT Eric Fisher working with training staff pregame

If pregame work is any indication, Kansas City Chiefs LT Eric Fisher could have a better chance to play in this game than previously thought.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapaport reported earlier that Fisher was “a long-shot” to play against the Raiders. However, Fisher was one of the first players out on the field pregame. He got some work in with the training staff and his teammates in an attempt to see if he’d be able to go in this game.

Some of the media members in attendance shared some videos and images of Fisher working out on the field. The signs are encouraging that he will have an opportunity to play against the Raiders.

Fisher was officially listed as questionable heading into the game. He was unable to finish Friday’s practice after initially sustaining the injury.

He looks pretty spry in this video from Chiefs Digest reporter Matt Derrick. He’s able to move and push off moving to his right side and didn’t appear to be in any sort of visible pain or discomfort. The fact that everyone exchanged high fives afterward and that Fisher continued to work on his own is a good sign.

Here’s a different angle of the work from ESPN’s Adam Teicher. Maybe it’s just wishful thinking, but I feel that Fisher is a lot closer to playing this game than he is to sitting it out.
