WATCH: Boston’s Jayson Tatum goes off for 37 points, 11 boards vs. Lakers (11/19)

For the second game in a row — and against an ideal opponent in the Los Angeles LakersBoston Celtics All-Star forward Jayson Tatum showed he’d shaken off his early-season slump that has been plaguing him until recently in the 2021-22 NBA season.

Leading all scorers in the Celtics’ 130 – 108 blowout of Los Angeles at TD Garden Friday night, the St. Louis native put up 37 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals, and a block while shooting 13-of-26 from the floor, 4-of-9 from beyond the arc and a perfect 7-f-7 from the line in 34 minutes fo playing time.

If you want to see Tatum’s best plays against Boston’s biggest rival, watch the clip embedded below courtesy of fan Celtics videographer Tomasz Kordylewski.

It seems pretty certain that the Duke product has shed the yips that were following his game, and it couldn’t have happened at a better time.
