That Boston Celtics All-Star forward Jaylen Brown had such a dominant offensive game despite having just returned from a strained hamstring was impressive enough. That he put up 10 points in just over a minute in the third quarter despite — as he admitted postgame –still feeling a little tight from the injury, is even more so.
Brown put up 19 points, 3 rebounds, a steal and a block in just 23 minutes of playing time in the Celtics’ 108 – 90 blowout of the Houston Rockets at TD Garden on Monday night, hinting at the damage this team could do with both Brown and fellow All-Star forward Jayson Tatum can do when both are healthy and clicking.
