Watch Ballinamallard United player's audacious overhead kick in league win

The Ballinamallard United forward lit up Ferney Park with an audacious overhead kick against Institute on Tuesday night.

It was the highlight of a comfortable 4-0 win for the Mallards who remain sixth in the Championship.

McCartney, 35, showed his clinical edge with an acrobatic finish to make it 3-0.

His goal came after Josh McIlwaine had broken the deadlock and BJ Banda had also scored.

McIlwaine bagged his second of the night to make it 4-0 and wrap up a comfortable win.
