  • A World Cup match official, Mohammad Al-Khalaf, was seen standing on his tiptoes for a group photograph with his taller colleagues.
  • The incident took place after Spain defeated Argentina 1-0 in the final at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Sunday, 19 July.
  • Match officials were presented with medals by Donald Trump and Fifa’s Gianni Infantino .
  • Al-Khalaf, a reserve assistant referee, was posing with his team and medal.
  • “Just a tremendous effort by fellow short king referee to make sure the pic looks good,” wrote one user online.
