Watch as England fans celebrate Luke Shaw's goal against Italy in Euro 2020 final

England wasted no time imposing themselves on the Euro 2020 final with Luke Shaw's opening goal coming in just the third minute of the game.

And fans in Newcastle erupted with joy as the ball beat Gianluigi Donnarumma and hit the back of the net.

Supporters have been packing our the Paddy Power Park on Newcastle's Quayside throughout the tournament, and tonight was no different.

Tension was high before the final, but Shaw's goal settled some of those nerves early on.

And judging by these scenes, fans loved every minute of it.

Nothing is won yet, of course, with Italy a dangerous threat, although England dominated the opening stages.

England manager Gareth Southgate had changed formation for the final, breaking in Kieran Trippier and switching to a back three, and it was Trippier who crossed for Shaw to score.

Watch fans in Newcastle celebrate in style in our video above.
