Watch as Dublin Airport passengers start massive trad music session while waiting for flight

These Dublin Airport passengers decided to make their own entertainment on a recent trip to the capital.

The musicians were in the queue waiting for a flight when they decided to take out their instruments and make some sweet music.

Luckily, Erin Fredrickson was on hand to catch a little bit of the impromptu session on her phone before they packed away their equipment for boarding.

She posted the video of the trad session on Twitter with the caption "Only at Dublin Airport".

Almost 2.9 million passengers travelled through Dublin Airport in October, a 3% increase on the same month last year.

The number of passengers flying to and from continental Europe increased by 6%, as more than 1.5 million passengers travelled to and from European destinations in October.

Over 870,000 passengers travelled to and from UK destinations last month, which was a 1% decline when compared to October last year.

Dublin Airport has welcomed almost 28.4 million passengers in the first 10 months of the year, a 5% increase over the same period in 2018. 

Almost 1.4 million extra passengers have travelled through the airport between January and October.
 

So far this year, the number of passengers connecting through Dublin Airport to another destination increased by 5%, with more than 1.6 million passengers connecting at the airport between January and October.
