Watch Andy Robertson's cutting response as Liverpool employee's phone disturbs press conference

Scotland star Andy Robertson fired a quick-witted response to a Liverpool photographer who forgot to turn off his phone during a press conference.

Robertson was discussing his injury problems in recent weeks after having ankle and hamstring issues.

He should be fit to play against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday night but it was as he discussed his return from injury that a Liverpool employee's phone started ringing.

The Scotland skipper quickly looks over laughing and shouting: "Come on Paulie" before a comment is made about him being a club photographer.

It's not the first time recently that press conferences have been interrupted by phones.

Sean Dyche took his mobile out and snapped a picture of his press conference after his wife text him to complain that he wasn't replying to her.

Previously, Celtic boss Neil Lennon answered a reporters phone and spoke to the journalist's wife during an interview in his first spell in charge of the club.

It has also happened to the likes of Jurgen Klopp and Unai Emery over recent seasons, while Roy Keane was left unhappy during his time at Ipswich.
