We learned last September that Space Jam 2 was in the works and that LeBron James serve as the film’s star. Now we know which NBA superstars will be joining James in the long-awaited sequel.
NBA stars Anthony Davis, Damian Lillard, Klay Thompson, and Chris Paul all will have key roles. Diana Taurasi, Chiney Ogwumike and Nneka Ogwumike of the WNBA will make appearances as well.
This is not a complete cast list, so we should expect to see other familiar faces in the film. But will Michael Jordan’s be one of them? That’s still unclear.
Filming is expected to start this summer for the July 2021 release date.
