Warzone Season 4 roadmap: Fortune’s Keep Refresh, new modes, Resurgence Ranked Play, more

Warzone Season 4 arrives June 4 with a massive content drop centered on Fortune’s Keep Refresh.

The updated resurgence map supports Black Ops 7‘s advanced movement while adding fresh micro POIs. There are new modes, including 52v52 Clash on Verdansk and the first-ever Squad Gun Game on resurgence maps.

Resurgence Ranked Play returns with seasonal rewards, and the mobile Black Market arrives via Shadowlink contracts. Having said that, here’s everything you need to know about the Warzone Season 4 roadmap.

Full Warzone Season 4 roadmap

Fortune’s Keep Refresh

Fortune’s Keep returns with your favorite locations while introducing updated micro POIs and gameplay refinements that make combat faster and more dynamic.

Grotto Cave systems connecting to Lighthouse and Graveyard at the cliff base
Smuggler’s Cove Deep-sea caves with illegal cargo
Use ladders and Ascenders for high ground
Research Vessel Moving pontoon with Buy Station, Ammo Cache, UAV Tower, and gas decontamination

The Research Vessel circles the shoreline in early match minutes before anchoring. It’s also the only POI with a UAV Tower.

New Micro POIs include Sea Science Aquatic Laboratory, Capt. Bubby’s Chum Haus and Smuggler HQ.

Sea Science Aquatic Laboratory is a two-story marine research building in the Bay with staircases and tightly packed rooms. Capt. Bubby’s Chum Haus is a one-story fast-food restaurant between Pier and Lighthouse with strong cover value.

Smuggler HQ has a central cluster of buildings and shipping containers near the Grotto entrance, making it perfect for ambushes.

New modes in Warzone Season 4

Clash at launch – 52v52 on Verdansk

Clash returns as a massive 52v52 team skirmish mode set across nine POIs in Verdansk. Returning Clash zones include Farm, Promenade East, Quarry, and Boneyard, while new zones include Airport, Signal Station, Launch Pad, Port, and Factory.

Coming to the Scoring System, the first team to reach the point limit or the highest score when time expires wins. You’ll fight with vehicles, including the new LTV mid-sized truck with turret, complete contracts, and call in heavy gear like the VTOL Warship.

Action Points
Elimination 1 point
Completed Contract 10 points
Bonus Crate Capture 20 points
Domination Point Capture 40 points

Squad Gun Game in mid-Season and Weekend LTMs in-Season

Warzone will get Gun Game for the first time in squad form. Drop into Resurgence maps as a squad, eliminate enemies to progress through weapons, and the first squad to cycle through all weapons wins.

Updated Weekend Limited Time Mode playlists roll out throughout the season. Loaded Resurgence arrives shortly after launch, and Buy Back Quads will come in Mid-Season.

Resurgence Ranked Play returns

Resurgence Ranked Play is back for a new competitive season with exclusive rewards you won’t find anywhere else. Climb the ranks through matches, earn unique seasonal Weapon Camos and rewards, and compete in the refined Ranked Play ruleset that limits loadout access.

New gameplay features

Shadowlink Contract and Advanced Self-Revive at launch

Fortune’s Keep Refresh introduces the Shadowlink Contract, a mobile Black Market feature exclusive to the updated map. Access Black Market inventory on the move, no need to find a static Buy Station, and it gives you an advantage for aggressive plays.

Using Advanced Self Revive, you can revive yourself without a teammate, with a built-in safety mechanism that prioritizes reaching cover first and reduces vulnerability during the self-revive animation.

Champion’s Quest comes mid-Season

Later in the season, the difficult Champion’s Quest will arrive. It’s a high-difficulty contract for skilled squads where you can test your coordination and combat prowess with exclusive rewards for completion.

Battle Pass and rewards

Like previous seasons, Season 4 will deliver both free and premium content across the Battle Pass, including new Operator skins, weapon blueprints, emotes, and finishing moves.

Ranked Play rewards include calling cards, weapon camos, and animated items for reaching specific ranks and completing win challenges. The update drops Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 9am PT across all platforms, simultaneously with Black Ops 7 Season 4, bringing content across Multiplayer, Zombies, and Endgame.
