Does Walmart offer free shipping?
Yes, shipping is free on all orders, if you have a Walmart+ membership. If you don’t have a membership, shipping is free on orders over $35. Orders under $35 will incur a $6.99 fee.
What is Walmart Plus?
Walmart Plus (or Walmart+) is the brand's paid membership program, which offers customers a range of benefits that are handy if you're a repeat shopper. The service costs $12.95 per month (or $98 if you pay yearly) and grants you free shipping with no minimum spend, membership to a streaming service of your choice, discounts on purchases including food and gas, cashback offers if you use a Walmart credit card and more.
Is there a Walmart Plus free trial?
Yes, Walmart offers a free 30-day trial of Walmart+, so you have plenty of time to decide whether it’s the right service for you and whether you think it’s worth the cost. Bear in mind that with the free trial, you won’t get to try out all of the Walmart+ benefits, however, you will get access to free shipping on all orders, mobile scan & go, and receive member prices on fuel.
Is there a Walmart app?
Yes, the Walmart app is free to download for Android and iOS through the Google Play and Apple App store, and lets you place and manage orders, create wishlists and get support with your shop. You'll also gain access to exclusive members-only discounts across the brand's range, helping you save a little extra on your shop.
What is Walmart’s returns policy?
Walmart accepts returns for anywhere up to 90 days depending on the product. You can return items to a store, ship them back for free or organize a scheduled pickup from your home. If you’re returning online, you can request the return through your account or through the app, and you’ll be given a shipping label that you can print so that the return is free.

Consider a OnePay credit card
If you're in the market for a credit card, Walmart offers the OnePay card, which gives you a number of benefits including 1.5% cashback on all purchases and 3% cashback when you shop direct with the brand. If you're a Walmart+ member, this rises to 5%. We've also seen welcome deals offer the likes of $35 cashback on orders over $75, so keep an eye out for the best times to join.
Get a discount on Walmart Plus
If you're considering joining Walmart Plus and you're a student, graduate or in receipt of government income aid, you can get 50% off the service when you verify your status through the brand's site. Eligible government aid plans include SNAP, WIC and Medicaid, and once you're verified, you'll be able to get the service for just $6.47 a month, or $49 a year.
Buy resold, restored and preowned
You can pick up a range of refurbished and second-hand tech from Walmart, too, with items sold through the brand's resold, restored and preowned ranges. The tech sold here is inspected, tested and restored as needed to ensure it is in like-new condition, plus its usually sold at a discount versus buying new, saving you up to 40% on your purchases.
Find a flash deal
Another great way to save on your tech is to snap up a Walmart flash deal. These are super time-limited offers, which may only be around for a few hours, and can discount prices by as much as 65%. We see flash deals on phones, TVs, smartwatches and a whole host of other big-ticket tech on a regular basis, so its well worth looking through this section of the Walmart site to see what the best price you can get is right now.
