A walker fell into freezing water at a popular Scots tourist attraction and was saved by Mountain Rescue volunteers.
The 25-year-old got caught out by weather conditions at the Devil's Pulpit at Finnich Glen on Wednesday afternoon and fell from the steep gorge into the river below.
Around a dozen volunteers from Lomond Mountain Rescue Team rushed to the scene after being alerted by police just after 4pm.
Emergency services arrived at the scene and he was treated by Scottish Ambulance Staff for hypothermia.
Lomond Mountain Rescue Service said: "At 16:03, Police Scotland advised that a casualty had fallen into the river at the Devil's Pulpit.
"Thankfully other than being extremely cold, they hadn't sustained any other injuries.
"After initial assessment on scene, they were transferred to Ambulance for further treatment. The stand down was issued at 17:28."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of concern for a person who had fallen at Finnich Glen, Stirling, around 3.45pm on Wednesday, 14 December, 2022.
“Officers attended alongside a mountain rescue team and ambulance service. A 25-year-old man was rescued and checked over.”
