Vue cinemas to broadcast the Eurovision Song Contest

Vue is inviting fans to experience the Eurovision Song Contest final on the big screen.

Fans typically organise viewing parties in the run-up to the Eurovision final but this year something special has been prepared for the contest. For the first time in its history, Vue is broadcasting the Grand Final in full 5.1 surround sound theatres across the country.

The move is in aid of fans who do not get an opportunity to go and see the competition in Liverpool. The head of Screen Content for Vue Entertainment understood it's the biggest music competition in the world, so bringing it to Vue just made perfect sense.

He said: “Every song, every vote and every larger-than-life moment will be live streamed in amazing picture and sound quality for fans to enjoy with each other in the comfort of our premium seating.”

Vue is presenting the Eurovision Song Contest across 500 cinemas nationwide and encouraging fans to turn up and wear fancy dress for the big occasion while not being afraid to sing alone.

Tickets will be available online from Monday, March 27 here.
